Staying with a Spanish family Our families are carefully selected to ensure that our students will feel at home with them, as another member of the family. With this option you will find yourself in many situations when you will have to practice your Spanish, and so gain invaluable real experience of how the language is really used in everyday contexts. All our families homes are located within 15-20 minutes of the school (Almansa is a compact town where all distances are relatively short). As for the house rules, students are free to come and go as they please, although obviously you will have to adapt to the family's way of doing things when it comes to meal times or the kind of food served, which for cultural reasons will almost certainly differ somewhat from what you're used to.
